So laggy on Prime... Stock browser much more useful and faster.
Waiting for Flash support...
Flash support won't come, since adobe stopped supporting mobile devices.
That and flash is old... html5 is the way to go!
Any chance for Froyo version ?
and how can i watch on some video without flash, any help with that?
Well, 'add to homescreen' doesn't create an "app" like icon ('apple-touch-icon') but a smaller, uglier one that I wouldn't keep on my homescreen.
On iOS HTML5 web apps can be displayed between apps. I'd like to be able to deploy HTML5 (offline capable) web apps without futile native webview wrappers. A customizable shortcut icon, like on iOS, would be a great first step!
Aside from that, RAM usage and CSS transitions/animations performance are the major issues with my Nexus S, even with only one or two open tabs.
About Flash, I couldn't care less about it, go on with HTML5 :)
Keep up the good work, just remember people like us, who bought a device a year ago... our phone has 512mb of ram, be gentle!
Long live the web.
Cheers from Italy!
Much faster than stock browser for me on Galaxy SII, but inability to hide address bar, especially in landscape orientation, makes me stick with the stock browser
How about Extensions and Web Apps? Some news on the coming support of these would be appreciated!
Getting better! It needs saving sites for offline reading.
Bug: Weather search doesn't work. It usually shows links instead of showing weather conditions right away.
That would be nice to be able in the future to select to "Download this file on my Google Drive", when it will launch so when we go home by example, the file we wanted would be just right in the Google Drive folder (If that's how it'll work, of course).
Would be awesome if you could incorporate the quick controls that are in the ics browser
how can we send pages from chrome beta to the desktop chrome?
Thank you for updating your favorite browser, but when the Russian localization appear?
I love it guys, Chrome is super on z Android.
Feature request: a browser history (or am I just blind and can't see it?)
screw old technology. embrace the new. if people want it bad enough, let them pay to upgrade the hardware. focus your engineering/programming craft on us latest technology adopters, do not waste time with adapting a model to froyo and other wastes of time and energy like that. thanks.
I Don't care about quick controls, sending to desktop or russian localization. just improve the english mobile version and get it to play video. thanks.
offline, weather, extensions and web apps don't matter one wit to me so please don't waste your time focusing on it. focus on going gold so no more mobile beta. just my 2-bits. please FOCUS. thanks.
Please have search engine sync in the next iteration - being able to have access to my search engines and bookmarks stored within the search engine manager via the keyboard shortcuts is very handy.
looks like this version doesn't work (crash on start) on any MDPI/LDPI devices, so pretty much all tablet users are out of luck until they release a fix =/
So every website in the world that currently uses flash is of no interest to this browser... Not much point in using it at the moment in that case regardless of what the html5 junkies have to say on the subject as flash tho no longer supported is still the most widespread technology on websites! Plus the latest version fc's constantly.
Can there be an option to have "request desktop version" always on?
The stock android browser on android 3.x worked this way.
Thank you.
I also think it would be great if there could an option to turn to "request desktop site" alway on.
please make it compatible to all android users. thanks :)
Works great on my skyrocket. Love the tabs, way easier than dolphin. But I'm sure many of us would appreciate plain text links to auto linkify. I know plain old chrome doesn't have it and I still need an extension but it would be great for the Android version to have it natively.
please add quick controls
it's so great on the ICS browser
Please add quick controls as this browserdoes, this is the best browser interface
